Silk organza is an elegant, sheer, very light weight fabric with a smooth, but firm, paper like and naturally firm texture. Crisp silk organza is ideal for elegant bridal gowns, evening dresses and formal wear, often layered, and it also works well in puffy sleeve blouses, shawls and accessories.

Weight 8 mm = 35 g/m2. Momme (mm), is a unit traditionally used to measure the quality of silk fabrics. One momme = 4.340 grams per square meter.
